SMART SHOT STUDIO: How and when did you decide to finally tie the knot? 
Robert & Ara : We were discussing marriage for a few months. And on March 3rd, he proposed. We were having a lazy afternoon. Watching a movie. And he cooked an Italian meal for the both of us to enjoy. After we ate and watched the movie, he started telling me how much he loves me, got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. I said yes.

SMART SHOT STUDIO: How did the two of you meet? 
​Robert & Ara : We met at the Puyallup State Fair in Washington. Robert was traveling for work at the time and was only in town for a little while. We got to talking about traveling and business opportunities. From then on, our conversations blossomed into getting to know each other more and kept in touch. How did you know he/she is THE ONE? It pretty much just crept up on us. Our main communication for our first few months were text and FaceTime, because he was traveling everywhere for his work. Until he finally moved to Seattle to be closer. And we’ve been inseparable since.

SMART SHOT STUDIO: What did your guests love the most in your wedding? 
Robert & Ara : Varies. Some loved the venue most. Some my wedding dress. Some the flowers. Some the food. Some the whole event for being able to socialize and see and catch up with each other again.

SMART SHOT STUDIO: What made your wedding unique and what particular details are you proud/happy with? 
Robert & Ara : I am very proud and happy about every single detail of our wedding. We couldn’t ask for more. What made it unique? The people in our wedding. Us as a couple. Each and everyone of us. Couldn’t have been possible without everyone there. It was a very intimate wedding. We all knew each other. The joy and Love were shared among us through the whole day.

SMART SHOT STUDIO: What is your wedding theme and why? 
Robert & Ara : Beauty and the Beast. It’s always been my favorite Disney movie. I’m a hopeless romantic. I’m sure it has something to do with “Tale as old as time” And we’re from completely different backgrounds. Suits us. How did you execute this motif in each of your wedding details? Bouquet of red roses for me, red dresses for bridesmaids, navy suit for groomsmen, gold dresses and ties for female and male sponsors and parents, wedding cake in the image of a rose, rose in glass dome for center pieces, beauty and the beast castle photo booth backgrounds. 

SMART SHOT STUDIO: Who are your wedding suppliers? 
Robert & Ara : Joellen and Mike Fajardo for the photo booth. Reid Johnson, Owner of Best Made Videos for videography, Marnie Gonzales and Joe Barrientos for flowers and Lito Q. Genilo International Photographer for photography. Fairmont Olympic Hotel supplies everything else. How did you arrive at choosing/selecting your wedding suppliers and what can you say about them? I’ve seen their work personally and have been recommended by close friends. All are one of a kind at what they do. They captured us, who we are as a couple, in every detail of their work. Being professional and great at what you do is easy. But to capture a couple on who they are and to bring that to life on one of the most special days of their lives, is an art.

SMART SHOT STUDIO: What tips, advice can you share to fellow brides-to-be? 
Robert & Ara : Know what you want. Make sure what you want is known. Then relax. The day will come no matter what. The most important at the end of it all is the marriage. Always put each other first. Then no matter what happens, everything will be perfect. Because the love and happiness in each other is there.
