SMART SHOT STUDIO: How did the two of you meet? How did you know he/she is THE ONE?
ATHENA: We met at the school book sale as seller-buyer. We became friends more than a year after our first meet up. We shared life's drama and we just clicked. And after 10 years after, here we are, getting married.

SMART SHOT STUDIO: How did he/she propose?

ATHENA: He got me to climb the 700+ steps of Mt. Tapyas. At the top, he gave me flowers, which he rarely does, he knelt and handed me the ring at my most haggard state of being.

SMART SHOT STUDIO: To the one who prepared the proposal, why did you choose to propose that way?
ATHENA: To make it more memorable. It was also the first time that we've been there.

SMART SHOT STUDIO: To the one who said YES, what can you say about the proposal? How did you feel after?
ATHENA: It was a mixture of all emotions possible! I was complaining because I wasn't aesthetically prepared while crying-laughing out of exhaustion and joy. At the end of it all, I wouldn't have wanted it done any other way.

SMART SHOT STUDIO:  What is your engagement session theme/concept and why?
ATHENA: Just chillin at the villa. Because we always look forward to our occasional stress-free vacations away from the very busy life of our profession.

SMART SHOT STUDIO:  Who are your engagement session suppliers? How did you arrive at choosing/selecting your suppliers and what can you say about them?ATHENA: Venue – Villa Nonita, Tagaytay, as seen from a friend's prenup. The whole facility and the view were beyond amazing. The host, Maam Nonita, and the staff, Kuya Boy and Maam Rosanna, were very accomodating.

Hair & Makeup – Mr Red Priagola, met him 2 years ago as HMUA from a salon that my friend frequents to. His swished his magical hands and transformed Kris and me into something picture-worthy

Photographer/Videographer – Smart Shot Studio, met them in a bridal fair. Seeing their work at the fairs and on-line got us excited to have celebrity level pictures but nervous, at the same time, because we are fond of wacky poses only. We thought we couldn't stand up to their standards. But after a series of non-intimidating instructions and flashes of lights - we got our dream outcomes.

Coordinator – Mr Mark Gil Francisco, also met him at the smart shot booth. He and sir Bernie lost their job descriptions on the day of our prenup shoot. They were all over the place. And we really appreciate how they shared our fear while we were at the rooftop.

SMART SHOT STUDIO: What made your prenup pictorial unique and what particular details are you proud/happy with?
ATHENA: Basically, the whole thing was a unique experience for us. It's not every day that we get to stand on a roof of a house on top of a hill overlooking taal volcano while having our pictures taken. The photovideo staff were cool to work with, they even gave in to our wacky antics.

SMART SHOT STUDIO: What tips, advice can you share to fellow couples-to-be who are either planning their own prenup pictorial or thinking of skipping one?

ATHENA: We are not fond of fancy pictorials, nor are we mushy, but during this time we have an acceptable reason to give it a go. We only get married once and we simply didn't want to look back thinking that we should have pursued with the prenup pictorial.
